according to Lars (Vilhelmsen 2000c) the ramus of the second valvula is not the part of the second valvula. Is it any reason why we should coniseder the ramus as different entity? Is there any insect taxa where the ramus is separated from the second valvula and than fused in some cases like in Hymenoptera?
