Is this a related synonym of posterior glossal plate? When the two sclerites are fused the structure is referred to as the posterior glossal plate; when the sclerites are separate they are each called a posterior glossal sclerite.

The sclerite that is located ventrally on the labium distally of the anterior margin of the prementum at the base of the paraglossa. The premento-paraglossal muscle inserts on the sclerite.
