"Snodgrass (1930,1935) confused the vannal fold with theclaval furrow, with the consequence thatremigidm is commonly used for the areaanterior to the claval furrow in fore.wingsand similar hind wings, and for that anteriorto the vannal fold in expanded and foldinghind wings."
